"Baby birds,
ducklings and goslings have long been known to be a favorite
forage of predatory fish like bass and muskies, Often baby birds
fall or are nudged out by larger siblings in an attempt to dominate
the food from the parents. Unfortunately when this happens,
their time on the water is a short one. In nature, the young
are always a favorite food source of predators.
The Baby Bird Popper is specially designed for this application
and can extremely effective throughout the Spring and into Summer
when nesting is most common. Only one color, Fledgling Gray,
is necessary to cover a wide range of bird species. The Baby
Bird Popper is entirely hand carved with a through wire from
mouth to tail for added strength and can be worked like a traditional
top water popper. The buck tail wings become alive with undulating
action once wet-simulating a struggling fledging in serious
trouble." |
